OUR TIME

Our time is a blazing fire,
Full of the will to fight,
Into which—like heroes—our generation
Has thrown itself.
On our faces, the clear shine
Of the victory to come.
And our hearts beat with joy,
As if waiting for a lover.
We fight on with everything we have:
Time—time is what we need.
For in the disaster of the present,
We will soon be messengers of victory.
